Comparing MEFI Standard & Professional
MEFI Scan & TuneTM comes in two editions: Standard Edition and Professional Edition. The Standard Edition is appropriate for the typical boat/off-road enthusiast. It has the ability to do real-time monitoring of all engine controller parameters as well as the ability to change a large set of the most common tuning parameters (fuel map, spark map, rev limit, etc). As an example, over 100 constants/scalars, over 200 flags/switches, and over 60 tables can be tuned in the MEFI-4B version alone with the standard edition. The Professional Edition is appropriate for the shop user who needs access to a much more extensive set of tuning parameters. This level of complexity may be overwhelming to the enthusiast or beginning tuner, but is sometimes necessary for the more experienced or professional tuner. As an example, over 300 constants/scalars, over 300 flags/switches, and over 100 tables can be tuned in the MEFI-4B version alone with the professional edition. Users of the Professional Edition can also have their shop listed on our page of Professional Tuning Services.
The major differences between the Standard and Professional packages are the Professional edition includes: Alternate fuel parameter control, EGR parameter control, BLM parameter control, CAN bus message control, CCP parameter control, Engine warning parameter control, Engine break in green rev limit parameter control. For users who already have the MEFI Scan or Standard Edition, we offer an upgrade to the Professional Edition. Also, users who have MEFI Scan can upgrade to either the Standard or Professional editions of MEFI Scan & TuneTM. All of our upgrades cost just the difference in cost between the versions, so you can try one version then upgrade to another without an additional cost. |
