The Spark Test cycles coil to fire the spark periodically
The spark test cannot be executed while the engine is running to prevent damage to the engine. To make sure this is so, the tst will continuously read the engine RPM
If the test detects that the engine is turning, the coil buttons will be disabled, preventing you from runnig the test. To run the test, click on one of the coil buttons. That will make that spark circuit activate periodically. Please be aware that even though there are 8 coil buttons, your particuilar engine may only have fewer than 8 circuits, as few as one circuit. |
